• "Bulletproof" vs. "Ballistic Resistant": Jemo Tactical products are "ballistic resistant," not "bulletproof." No material can guarantee 100% protection against all threats.
• NIJ Standards: Protection is strictly limited to the specific National Institute of Justice (NIJ) threat level listed on the product label. Using plates against calibers higher than their rating immediately voids all liability.
• Blunt Force Trauma: Even if a plate stops a round, the energy transfer can cause "Back Face Deformation," resulting in broken bones, internal organ damage, or death.

By purchasing, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have never been convicted of a felony or any crime that would prohibit you from owning body armor under federal or state law (e.g., 18 U.S.C. § 931).
• You are not purchasing gear for any unlawful purpose or for use by a restricted person.
• You are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as these items are subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and cannot be exported.

• Waiver of Lawsuit: To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, the buyer waives the right to sue Jemo Tactical for any injury, death, or damage resulting from the use of our products.
• Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jemo Tactical and its Memphis-based staff from any third-party claims arising from your misuse of the equipment or violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any legal proceedings shall be held exclusively in the courts of Shelby County (Memphis), TN.

IMPORTANT: Read before deploying equipment.

To ensure your plates perform as designed, you must follow these safety protocols:

• The "Tap Test": For ceramic plates, listen for a "ring" vs. a "thud." A dull thud may indicate internal cracking.
• Visual Check: Inspect the outer cordura or polyurea coating. If there are tears, moisture can enter and degrade the ballistic core.
• Drop Policy: If a plate is dropped on a hard surface (concrete/asphalt), it must be replaced. Micro-fractures in ceramic cores are invisible to the eye but can cause failure during impact.

• Temperature Control: Do not store plates in a vehicle trunk during Memphis summers. Extreme heat (above 120°F) can degrade the adhesives and polymers over time.
• Flat Storage: Store plates flat or inside a properly supported carrier. Do not lean heavy objects against them, as constant pressure can cause warping.

• The "V" Notch: The plate should be centered on your chest, with the top edge sitting at the "jugular notch" (where your collarbones meet).
• Side-to-Side: Ensure the plate covers your vital organs (heart and lungs). Improperly fitted armor leaves you exposed.
